On Sunday afternoon, a fast-moving wildfire known as The Bike Fire erupted near Golden Valley in Santa Clarita, LA County, California. By 2:40 p.m., the fire had scorched approximately 200 acres. The Los Angeles County Fire Department and the Angeles National Forest issued mandatory evacuations for three zones and evacuation warnings for four others, as the fire was behaving erratically. Aircraft were mobilized to assist ground crews in battling the flames, but the cause of the fire remains unknown.
