On September 25, a Russian drone struck a high-rise building in central Kyiv's Pechersk district, killing a 14-year-old boy and injuring at least seven others. The attack occurred during an air-raid warning, with the explosion hitting between the 10th and 11th floors of the residential building. Injuries later rose to 20 people across Kyiv, including those affected in Podilskyi and Solomianskyi districts, as rescue teams worked amidst debris and broken glass. Additionally, one person was killed and another injured in an attack on Odesa. Russia claimed these were targeted strikes against Ukrainian defense and logistics facilities but denies intentionally hitting civilians. The use of jet-powered drones by Russia has made it challenging for Ukraine to intercept them due to their high speeds exceeding 600 km/h.
